Hamster Flight Simulator
Privacy & Safety
Last updated: June 9, 2026
What the app collects
The simulator stores the pilot name you enter, your account/session identifier, basic flight stats, multiplayer room state while connected, and chat reports you submit. Multiplayer uses cookies or a native iOS API bridge to keep your session active with beta.hamfs.io.
The iOS app bundles the game, aircraft models, maps, and visual assets locally. The server is used for login, multiplayer WebSocket traffic, leaderboard/stat features, and safety reports.
How data is used
Data is used to run multiplayer rooms, identify pilots to each other by display name, preserve basic account sessions, show flight stats, and investigate abuse reports. We do not sell personal data.
Chat and multiplayer safety
Chat messages are length-limited and filtered before being relayed to other pilots. In the app, pilots can block the most recent chat sender locally and can report the most recent chat message. Reports include the reported pilot's network id, display name, room, message text, timestamp, and client context so the operator can review abuse.
Children and accounts
The simulator is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Pilots should avoid using real names or sharing contact information in chat.
Retention and deletion
Session cookies expire automatically. Safety reports and account records are retained as needed to operate the service and investigate abuse. Account or safety requests can be made through the App Store support channel for this app.
